Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein and James Comey had all been a life-long Republicans up until Comey’s firing (Comey is now an independent; no info on whether or not Mueller and Rosenstein are still Republicans).

Republicans Mueller and Comey were first appointed by Bush; Republican Rosenstein was appointed by Trump.

If James Comey or Rod Rosenstein had some kind of plot to discredit Trump and keep him out of the White House, all they would have had to do is make a public announcement that the Trump campaign was under an active FBI investigation. THEY DIDN’T

Instead, they kept silent on that very serious national security issue and announced that they had re-opened an investigation into Hillary’s emails, which they would close down (again) just a few days later with no charges, no indictments and no convictions.

But by that time the damage had already been done, and I’m sure Comey came to quickly regret his complicity.

In the summer and fall of 2016, there were investigations of BOTH the Hillary (emails) and Trump (mutually-beneficial interactions with a hostile foreign adversary to influence a presidential election). Only ONE of the two was announced publicly before the election.

THEY ONLY ANNOUNCED THE HILLARY INVESTIGATION; NOT TRUMP.

ALL HARM WAS TO HILLARY, NOT TRUMP.

So the idea that they tried to hurt Trump is nonsense. Faux “News” LIES.

No one cares about James Comey. It’s the partisan hack of an AG that is obstructing justice from the criminal hack of your president that you should care about.

Kelly’s cartoon actually has some reality – there were times I was confused as how to regard James Comey, especially his announcement that he had re-opened the investigation into Hillary’s emails days before the election.

“Oh, hell, I don’t know or care! I’m tired of thinking, let’s just flip a coin.”, says his fellow congress person. That’s how your congress resolves the really important issues.

James Comey is a Republican with a record of integrity: making very bad judgment calls regarding the Hillary email announcement didn’t make him a “lying partisan hack,” unlike the current Attorney General.

haha I get it, because everything is both sides, even when one side lies and the other uses evidence, it is funny because it makes it seem like the GOP is kinda okay.

Kelley, like Giuliani and Huckabee Sanders, happily dances to #45’s lying lyrics!

Comey will go down in history for unfairly swinging the election to Trump.

False equivalence error. Nobody in either party thinks of him as trustworthy or a partisan hack: He’s only in it for the money.

I, for one, am perfectly capable of loving and hating Comey while walking and chewing gum at the same time.
