I’m not surprised that cows could have social bonds since they’re herd animals. I didn’t know they could have best friends, though. That makes sense, though, since I’ve seen dogs, cats, and horses with best friends.

Oh, cows.are.so.sweet. I saw a thing on YouTube that showed that this sanctuary for farm animals had.to go & get one of their rescues because it was heartbroken at being separated from it’s friend. The reunion was so sweet. The cows danced around like mad. It was beautiful!
