In the Midwest US if you asked for Garbage or Hog Slop for breakfast you would get eggs, potatoes, bacon, onion, sausage mixed together, covered with gravy and served over biscuits or with a side of toast. Variations could include jalapeno’s and/or bell peppers, and shredded cheese. Washed down with a pot of coffee and antacid pills for dessert.
