In the heat vent?

Think, Opal, think! Did the title have a number spelled out in it, did it say what some letter of the alphabet is for, or was it the title of a Beatles song?

It’s gotta be somewhere, ‘cause it can’t be nowhere!

How do ya lose a BOOK..?? – That’s fairly LARGE.

It’s in the fridge. You set it down in there so you could pick up the thing you wanted.

My Kindle went missing this week. I finally found it behind a bag of flour on the kitchen counter. I have no idea….

When I was little a Nancy Drew book went missing. Ironically, its location is still a mystery.

Under the recliner, under the couch cushions, in the dresser drawer, inside the heat vent? Who would leave a book in these places?

She does not remember the title, or what is was about, but I bet she will say it was a good book!

Among all the things I lose in this small house not much in the book line. Always (almost) know where my book is.

Give her any book and defy her to deny it’s the one.

It also sounds like her reading comprehension is little lacking.

You left it someplace you weren’t thinking of remembering.

I usually find mine in the snack cupboard, or on the way to the throne room.

When someone at work would ask me if I knew where a folder was, because they couldn’t find it, I would ask if they looked in ___ drawer. They would answer that it’s not supposed to be there. I said, “If it’s not where it’s supposed to be, look where it’s not supposed to be.”. They usually found it. Half the employees had no idea how to file things.
