The amphibious fish crawling out onto land is part of the “March of Evolution” that is a trope that is used constantly and is well known.
It’s a coelacanth!
Most of the “walk” signs around here also tell you how many more seconds you have before the cars can start picking you off.Speeds up evolution considerably.
