The seems to be a difference between politicians and public servants and shouldn’t be. There is too much insincere glad-handing and nowhere near enough competence or relevance in our binary, mutually exclusive, wealthy/self-serving, public-neglecting, dysfunctional, opposing party system. It’s not really a job that should be given to the power seekers faking patriotism. By ignoring the experience, competence, team-building, and te-am-playing abilities of candidates we indeed get the government we deserve.

It’s just mind-boggling how the Conservatives can have the AUDACITY to point at Biden and say “LOOK!!! LOOK!!! He’s EVIL, and MEAN towards Women!!” while the most repulsive, misogynistic and downright CREEPY individual EVER is currently sitting in the White House, dreaming about SLEEPING WITH HIS OWN DAUGHTER when he’s not walking into the dressing room of TEENAGE BEAUTY PAGEANT CONTESTANTS, and grabbing them by the * because “When you’re famous, you can get away with it!”, and they won’t say A DAMN THING about him!
Anyone remember W rubbing shoulders of the female German leader? At the time, it was thought to be awkward, not sexual, it is the same with Biden. All of the Democrats will have something that someone dislikes. We can’t have all of our most effective people go away because the right wants to harp on it, while excusing the bumbler/abuser in chief at the current White House no matter what.
I am amazed at how many would actually equate an overt sexual touch of one’s private parts with a plain old hug. While a hug or short pecking kiss on the cheek or head may be unwanted, it is not considered sexual assault, unlike the aforementioned touching of private parts or sticking of a tongue into the other person’s mouth, as was alleged by Trump’s accusers. Think about it. The two things are not equally creepy or equal in any other way.

If this is how Ms. Flores repays favors (like Joe Biden making an appearance for her campaign), she may have trouble getting future help. Joe Biden is a very honorable man and should not be trashed for a hug or a kiss on top of some one’s head.
Call me a skeptic. A woman suddenly remembers that Joe B. gave her a hug, 4 years ago. It just occurred to her, that hug might have been a sexual assault. I can say, for myself, I have hugged people. I went to a friend’s wake last night. The man’s daughter hugged me. I took the widow’s hand and offered my condolences. I shook hands with his sons, too. Am I suspect? Are we unable to separate the normal behaviour, of normal people, from the actions of sexual predators?
