It’s wrong, but as criminal celebrities who escape justice go, America has much fatter fish to fry!

Smollett isn’t exonerated for colluding to fake a hate crime.Trump isn’t exonerated for obstructing an investigation into colluding to fake an election.

Which is the bigger “miscarriage of justice”?

Wow, Heller is pissed off about Smollet, but not about DJT! Shows he cares more about form than substance!

Who knows what happened? Did they possibly not actually have the testimony of those two Nigerian guys? Because without that, they have no provable case.

Does anybody remember that Sheriff Joe Arpaio not only faked being the victim of an assassination attempt, but actually arrested a guy for it? James Saville spent four years in jail before they found out that the “crime” didn’t even happen, but was a hoax by Arpaio.

    And he’s a right-wing hero.

I can’t help but notice the enormous attention paid to this story and the overblown surprise that a reasonably famous actor got off the hook. Gee, there have never ever been rich, famous, and powerful people getting out of justice before?

    Oh, wait, he’s black…

Of all the injustices that take place in courts on a daily basis… the only thing significant about this one is that it is “high profile”.

I would question the accusation that Donnie John ISN’T an actor. I beg to differ, Donnie John IS an actor – he’s just not a GOOD ONE!

One gay black guy makes a false allegation and the conservative punditry loses it’s mind. How about a bit of historical context between Emmett Till and Oscar Grant? On one side a mole hill and on the other mount Everest.
