The “point” of this sleazy cartoon is to falsely pin Democratic campaign buttons on traditional news reporting like that of CNN and NBC. “Reality has a well-known liberal bias.”
It appears to me that with his donkey “pins”, he’s accusing all the CNN newscasters not only of being “registered” Democrats (is such information even publicly available?), but of parroting (apologies to all real parrots) and promoting a Party line without any criticism or even thought.
Well, Gary, as my parents often advised, “Judge not others by thyself.”
“HillaryHillaryHILLARYHILLARY!! Comin’ for your guns! witch hunt! emailsemailsEMAILS!!! Omar! AOC! BenghaziBenghaziBenghaziBenghaziBENGHAZIBENGHAZZZIIIIII!!!!! The Blacks! No Collusion! HILLARRRYYY!!! MORE BLACKS!! Dems are comin’ for YOUR COWS!!”
“And now a word from our sponsor:”“BonerPillsBonerPillsBONERPILLS!!!”
To be a reliable editorial comic there has to be some realism involved. That CNN, NBC and MSNBC are not quite a lackey is evident by their coverage of scandals and outrageous expressions by the Democrats. That the Republicans are basically so blatantly ruining this country with hate, unparalleled deficit, welfare breaks for the rich and corporation, trying to save bucks cutting back on health care for the poor and middle class and more is … shall we say … OBVIOUS. Hence, this cartoon fails to be even remotely funny, but it does draw attention to the fact that the cartoonist is a funny idiot.
Never before in the history of the United States have we EVER seen such politically biased “news” as we see from Fox. It’s the closest thing we have to State sponsored propaganda.
But of course, Varvel the pot just can’t resist calling the kettle black.

Gary, that was Sinclair, Fox’s twin in crime.
You can’t deny the back-and-forth between Fox that shows up as a Trump tweet then back to Fox.

So they all report the same news, that the Dems said they oppose using Faux Snooze. That’s what reporters do with an announcement.
What’s the point of the cartoon?

I must say, Varvel has a most impressive grasp of the obvious.

Seriously Gary, I’ve got to agree with Concretionist. What’s the point of the cartoon? Is it that news organizations report the news?

Media at it’s most unbiased.

I’ll give Gary the “benefit” of my doubt.

This from those who gave him millions in advertising for free in the election run up.

There’s no limit to conservative hypocrisy.
