Point: Trump should have just said that they were focusing on other issues and topics. I understand why he said what he said (buttering up) but it was a big mistake.

Point: Odds are that Kim didn’t know what had happened to Warmbier until after the fact. I’m sure he knew Otto was in custody but I doubt Kim authorized that kind of damage to a valuable bargaining chip. I wouldn’t be surprised if the jailer(s) who did the deed got quietly whacked.

1. Why would anyone in their right mind, take a trip to NK?
