ZING! You just know that when someone thinks they are attacking him because they want people to love each other, that this is a very, very bad sign…assuming you missed all the OTHER signs on this sadistic narcissist sitting in the White House.

Sounds like something those damned longhair hippies were saying in the ’60’s. We hated them then, and we were right, still are.

Red-hatters couldn’t experience peace, love or happiness if their lives depended on it. All they know how to do is hate, hate, hate.

And he sure does prevent peace, love and happiness on every nook and cranny on our fatigued planet.

Here is some of the crapola I got in an E-mail from Yertle the Turtle’s propaganda division…The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (P.L.115-141), which funded the government for fiscal year (FY) 2018, contained $1.57 billion for the construction of a barrier and other technology to secure our Southwest border. This came at the request of the president and the support of countless border security experts who deal with illegal immigration first-hand. According to the CBP, in four border sectors where the administration has constructed or improved physical barriers in the past two years, illegal traffic has fallen by 90 percent.Recently, however, Democrats in Congress opposed such measures and, in the process, obstructed critical funding, resulting in a shutdown of a quarter of the federal government and the programs on which millions of Americans rely. This all stems from a debate over a structured barrier on our country’s southern border – a proposal that my Democratic colleagues have voted for and authorized in the past, including under the direction of President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security in 2011 and under the Secure Fence Act of 2006. Yet, the very same blueprint of fencing with spaced, steel slats was politicized to prolong a partial government shutdown.

On February 14, 2019, Congress passed and I supported the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019, which funds the remaining 25% of the federal government for the remainder of FY 2019. This legislation provides $22.54 billion in total for border security, of which $1.375 billion will be used to build 55 new miles of walls and physical barriers along the southwest border. The president signed it into law the following day, while also declaring “that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States.” This emergency declaration is expected to secure additional funding to build barriers and impede illegal immigration

Sounds like Spike Lee’s upbeat speech in which he didn’t mention Trump, yet he took offense anyway. Trump is all about faux outrage, among other things.

You must understand, montessoriteacher, that it’s NOT the MESSAGE that Donnie John objects to so much as it’s WHO’S delivering that message.

To a card-carrying member of the White Nationalist Brigade such as Donald John Trump, SPIKE LEE is the problem! I suspect that the same “peace & love” message, uttered by a white man would NOT have raised an eyebrow on anyone in Trump’s circle of friends – assuming he has any – but Spike Lee? a “black”? My God, how can it NOT be some kind of attack on Donnie John’s white values – even if Donnie John CAN’T quite figure out the “slam” – after all, it’s Spike Lee! It’s gotta be an attack! Just gotta be!

A good cartoon that reflects a truth. I expected more comments about Mr. Spike Lees’ comments at the awards show. Several have gone public with their self-righteous indignation, although no names were used. The shoe fits. Thank you, Mr. Bennett
