At one point, we had 5 cats; oldest was 11, youngest was 3. They regularly, and with a great deal of vim, vigor and vitality, staged the “Races At Pimloco” (Pimlico), thru our house…every room except the bathroom and a doorless closet. Just get out of their way and watch the swats, swipes and fur fly!

There is a time and a place for everything. And that’s all right here and right now. Now go away, and mind your place this time.

We have a 17 year old cat that still gets the Zooms on an almost daily basis and nearly flies from one end of the house to the other
Nowhere near so destructive as Sophie, but she only weighs about 8 pounds

Sweetheart is too old to zoomie, but she still has some bounce.

Little avatar, Bitsy, is 16 and still does zoomies up and down the hall, through the living room, dining room and kitchen.

Zoomies are both exercise and proof of life. It is telling us, the over lords, that they are not ready for that last ride to the vet, yet.

My outlaws’ dachshund used to do the round-&-round-&-round thing in their house. It was hilarious when my son learned to walk & run & joined in.

Sophie got all her zoomies out before mom could get her outside.
