I don’t know what the report is going to say, but it’s not going to say “no collusion”. There have been too many indictments of Russian operatives and Trump officials for that. The best the Republicans can hope for that Mueller will not have enough evidence to indict Trump himself. Barr has already implied that he’ll only allow parts of the report that deal with actual indictments to be released to the public. Evidence gathered against Trump then will never see the light of day, and the GOP will claim the non indictment as proof of Trump’s innocence.
No matter if Donnie himself manages to slither by with a plea of plausible deniability, the guilty pleas and indictments of those closest to him, including family members, paints its own picture. There should be a new election held, just like in North Carolina.
The cartoon might comfort some, but look at the facts. Let me remind you Steve:
Proven contacts between Russian operators and Trump’s close associates. Strangely high Russian attendance at Trump’s inauguration.
Trump has meetings with Putin. No US advisers, no translator.
Putin’s Russia starts getting a lot of what it wants: A destabilized America, damaged American relationships with allies, trade wars damaging to American interests and the interests of allies.
I’m sure those who pay you have influence over what you draw, but for Heaven’s sake.
If there’s evidence that trump did anything wrong, the public should know about it. Mueller’s mandate and authority are too far reaching and he’s too good to not find collusion or anything else that can be attributed to the president. If he’s guilty we’ll know it. If he’s not, then dems will turn on Mueller like it’s his fault for not finding it. Or he’s been paid off in rubles by trump and his gf putin lol
He might skate with obstruction of justice charges looming over his head. The report will point out the role of the Russians and the ’Cons in abrogating democratic processes in the U.S.
Collusion between high level officials in the campaign and the Russians has been amply demonstrated by now, and also the eagerness of those officials to lie about it. There are a couple of questions still unanswered: first, did Trump himself know about or encourage this collusion, and second, did Trump try to obstruct the investigations in a criminal way.
I hate the smug, affluent, elite tone Kelley portrays.
He knows the truth, but he’s confident to portray the lie because he knows that the chumps will swallow this lie just like they’ve swallowed every other lie his people put out.
How thoughtful of Kelley … His opinion seems to be that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 Election and that there were no contacts between Russian agents and members of #45’s family, advisors, and fellow sideshow barkers. So, Kelley’s opinion versus indictments ….
Decades of shady business dealings with Russian oligarchs. Money-laundering and loans which put Trump in jeopardy of coming under control, if not actually under control, of Putin and his cronies.
A server in Trump Tower, New York City, communicating with a Russian site or sites.
Trump’s repeated meetings with Putin. No US advisers, no US translator at several. Meeting in the Oval office with top Russian officials with no US press present.
The meeting in Trump Tower between Russians and Trump’s first-born son and others.
Trump’s public statements that he trusts Vladimir Putin, over the American intelligence services.

I read this as the opposite – the big hoax is that there’s no collusion.

Mr. Kelley do you know that there are other people who draw political cartoons? Or is that a “hoax” too?

Whether he gets away with everything or not he is still a very BAD president. The worst. I hope the USA can recover from his time in office.

I hear Supermax in Colorado has a special “no collusion” cell.
