I’m guessing Gryphon Quest is a parody of Dragon Quest.

With such deep technological differences, it’s going to be difficult for Phoebe to discover any common ground. Step aside religion, technology is here to drive people apart!

At least Dakota did ONE thing right.

Problem is I can make arguments for Max using Apple or Android. Max is the moody artist. But I can also see him compiling his own Android kernels.

Dakota wouldn’t be caught dead using something as generic and non-trendy as Android.

This means war.

Mind control.

I can see three scenarios for where this will end. 1. Max and Dakota will try to get along for Phoebe’s sake. 2. Max and Dakota will find something in common after Phoebe leaves from giving up. 3. Phoebe will learn that she can’t make her friends like each other.

Now I’m wondering just what sort of game Gryphon Quest 3 is…considering it’s a phone game, it’s probably one of those collect-a-thon games that wouldn’t interest me, but still…

Any new reader who started with this arc will be pretty dang surprised when unicorns and goblins and candy-spewing dragons pop up……..
