No wonder cats are finicky eaters.

They are just finicky in the house, unless it’s the goldfish or parakeet.

This only applies to cat food. I’ve never known a cat to be finicky about something that it sees a human eating. Although they may steal some and then decide they don’t like it.

Cats don’t seem to be finicky about what they catch and eat outside.

By that logic, they never eat. Unless “meh” is OK.

    Urban Dictionary: Meh

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Meh

“An interjection used to imply indifference towards a subject; “a verbal shrug”. This particular interjection has somehow become quite popular among teens, the reason for this popularity is a mystery.”

Back when I was a kid (don’t ask) we used to say " `eh " to express indifference; it was our equivalent of “whatever,” “I don’t really care.”

When I started seeing Millenials using ‘meh’ I didn’t understand at first. Then I realized they had merely morphed the slang.

Evidently, the popularity peaked with the advent of the TV show “The Simpsons.”
