It’s kind of surprising that with Ears THAT BIG that the Elephants can have such selective hearing! Of course, they ALSO have selective vision and selective memories, as well… They ONLY hear, see, and remember the things THEY want to, and not the truth.
Let’s give the Republicans in Congress the benefit of the doubt: They are NOT stupid enough to think that Trump could possibly deserve applause. They are merely looking down the road at their next elections, and they know full well that more than a few VOTERS are stupid enough to think that Trump deserves applause. So, much like Stormy Daniels (and Melania), they FAKED it!
Hopefully this will be the last " State of the Union" address. With all the media available today we the people know how the state of the union is doing. Congress should pass a law to abolish this stupid practice.
Excellent political cartoon. The Republican side was a sea of white faces and mostly elderly men. All that clapping and jumping up and down kept them awake. And they looked silly.
In the effort to be a good citizen, I listen to what our “leaders” say to be informed of what they’re up to. Bonespurs in an hour and a half, robbed me of over 17 hours of my life I’ll never get back. It’s called SOTSU “Stress Of The Stupidly Unhinged” Bonespurs spewed.
