RepubliCONs put their openly racist and sexist and homophobic bigots and serial abusers in the White House, Senate and House, and when caught in their disgusting lies do nothing about it. Democrats are not the ones who preach “family values,” but we hold ours to a higher standard.
Al Franken? Gone, but Trump who did far worse far more often, is still in the White House.
Ralph Northam? Taking bets on how long he can hold on, but his universal condemnation by Democrats is very different from looking away from Steve King, who is still there, or Donald Trump who applauds KKKonfederate monuments and considers Nazis and KKKONfederates at Charlottesville who carried the flags representing slavery, racism and totalitarianism that were crushed by real Americans in the 1860s and 1940s to be good people.
The fact is, RepubliCONs hold themselves up as models of morality and virtue, but these phony, hypocritical “holier-than-thou” CONservative evangelical “Christians” who always wag their fingers in everyone else’s noses have been exposed for the money-grubbing frauds they are — they have officially relinquished any credibility on claiming to be the party of “family values” or the “moral majority” (they are neither moral nor the majority).
See Repubs, the Dems actually try to take of their racism problems. They don’t elect them to the White House and Congress. Or put them on the Supreme Court.
That’s not identity or racial politics; it’s moral decency.
The question is, has Northham shown racism in the last 30 years after this incident? Has he changed? I do no know him that well. Now for trump that has done far worse, proven in a court of law to be a racist and conman. Has he changed? No he has not. Still has the racist dog whistle and cons the government every time he stays at his properties.
