Crooked liar traitor Trump will just go to the senate and deliver his hate speech about how the Dems are all at fault for not giving him his fetish wall and he had no choice but to shut down the country and throw 800,000 govt employees out of work.

It should be obvious to everyone by now that Trump is totally insane.

Security is one of the things that has been outsourced to contractors; since contractors CANNOT be paid during a shutdown they cannot force their employees to work without pay. Trump making this speech is a security risk. Homeland Security has stated that the SOTU should NOT happen while the government is shut down. Let Trump go do one of his campaign rallies instead and DON’T televise it.

Anyone really think that Varvel is upset because Speaker Pelosi is interfering with #45’s “opportunity” to address why thousands of immigrant children are still in confinement, separated from their parents?

If he has to write the speech someone better buy some him new crayons.

Up until 1913 it was delivered written. There is no reason why he should come and speak.

I like the expression on Trump’s face in this cartoon. He clearly hasn’t the foggiest idea of what to do. (There aren’t even any cameras for him to talk to.)

FWIW, Nancy has told him that he’ll be welcome to give his speech to the House after the shutdown is over and the full complement of security staff is paid and on duty.

Looks like Nancy got her “wall”, while all of Trump’s “art” hasn’t been able to close a “deal” for his.

He doesn’t need a State of the Union speech, just read his tweets. Everything he does is golden and all others are losers end of story.
