Democrats do NOT support ANY action, even if the ultimate objective is something we agree with, simply out of obedience to the commands of a brutal foreign dictator (Erdogan) to do so. (Apparently Erdogan saw how Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Salman enjoy yanking on the puppet strings and watching Trump dance that he wanted to have a turn playing with the little puppet.)

The US should announce that on a certain date we will be removing our troops from Syria. We have done our part. This should be far enough into the future (say, 6 months) for any concerned Nations to formulate and implement a military plan for the area if they feel it is necessary. If none feel it is necessary, then why are we there in the first place ?
Then we should repeat the process around the World everywhere we have troops stationed. We need to get out of the business of being the protector of the World.
