Trump “promised” that more people would be covered under his Dreamers plan. However, the biggest impediment to having more people covered was their fear of being deported. Seems that they were correct since Trump’s ICE has even gone after people with green cards because they made a mistake on some paperwork.
No the shutdown can end when Trump stops trying to be a dictator. He vetoed a unanimous bill that would have funded the gov… and now has taken thousands of American workers hostage… just so he could get HIS way… THAT is somewhere between a dictator and a terrorist.
Please recall that earlier last year Trump said that if the House and Senate put together a bill that included $25 B for the wall and a pathway to citizenship for the Dreamers, he would take the “heat” and would sign it. But, as soon as the bill passed by both houses arrived he tossed it aside because he’d talked to Sen Cotton, and a couple of other critics in the meantime. He cannot be trusted to keep his word on anything.
This is another lie, plain and simple. It’s hard to keep up with them and what Trump actually said, but although he said that he would take the heat for this proposal, he did not and backed away as soon as soon as he realized that nut wig media was opposed to the proposal. I’m sure that I’m only one of many that point this out to you. That makes you an idiot as well. Goodbye, there is no way to get balanced humor anymore.
