Stuff ‘em in the freezer until 2012.

Bored?! But nothings happened yet…oh I see.

Really! We were never bored around my mom.

Curses! Alt with 4 erases everything! But I repeat:

OK, I’m going to post this before I experiment with anything else.

Alt 0 does nothing.

☺ ☻ ♥ ♠ I was mistaken about Alt 4. It takes you to the previous screen.

♣ ♠ • and Alt 7 takes you to the browser’s start page.

◘ ○ ◙ ♂ ♀ ♪ Alt 14 also takes you to the previous screen but doesn’t add a character to your comment.

☼ Alt 16 does the same as Alt 7.

◄ Alt 17 adds this arrowhead and then takes you to the browser’s start page.

↕ ‼ ¶ § ▬ ↨ Alt 18 and Alt 23 seem to do the same thing.

I keep forgetting to check - does any of the females ever wear a skirt?

OK, I will summarize how to get these strange characters. You press Alt and hold it down. Then you use the number keys on the number pad. For example, for 10 you press and release 1, then press and release 0. Then you can release the Alt key, and that’s when your character appears on the screen.

I’ll just check to see whether it matters which Alt key you use (for some things it does):

♂ ♂

Doesn’t seem to matter.

Alt 24 does the same as Alt 14.

↓ Alt 26.

Alt 27 takes you to the browser’s start page… I’m beginning to see a pattern here, folks…

∟ ↔ ▲ ▼ Alt 32 seems to do nothing. Try again: . No, I missed that. It puts in the space character.

! Alt 33 puts in the exclamation point. So now we are in the realm of numbers that repeat the characters on the keyboard itself - letters, numbers, punctuation, etc.

That’s enough for now.

Oh, of course not, nobody has to be interested in this or read it. But I get fascinated by things like this.

Thus is displayed the typical lack of experience for the modern child. Bored is a state-of-mind, busy is a state of activity. Mom & Grand-mom will find activity for those bored children. Whether they enjoy it will also be a state-of-mind!

Go help Grandma, girls. Your mom is probably relaxing in between chores. My kids are never bored. Even if they’re playing, I still give them something to do.

RinaFarina I just found this funstuff or Theworldofstuff.com has a long list of symbol!s using alt key. You realize ! you don’t need alt key some symbols are listed on he board. ♫ ¢ alt 155. For any of you I have found out from BT some new creative ways to use computer. Someone has a lot of time on their hands.

I believe the girls need to go back to school then they won’t be so board. Val mom needs to rest.

Rina, Holly often wears skirts, but Alix would sooner die. As for Val and Joan, I seem to recall them occasionally in skirts.
