Nerwin’s answer was technically correct. If it wasn’t what Teacher expected, she should clarify her expectation. Then Nerwin could get it wrong with clarity!

I remember when I was taught multiplying fractions and I couldn’t understand how multiplication could result in a smaller number.

The teacher probably has tenure otherwise she would be hurting Nerwin’s sel-esteem.for
