I’m with Len on being hesitant on getting a second cat—not something you should just rush into on a whim, and Len’s right to think that might only add problems, because depending on the cats, it just might.
But I gotta side with the rest of the family on getting rid of Harry. You’re outvoted on that front, Len. You’re just going to have to live with the fact that cat’s here to stay.

Unfortunately, unless they are raised together from kittens, most cats don’t take well to a new cat coming into the home.

Bad move, Len——Harry is here to stay! I have introduced several cats to my household and they have accepted each other quite well.
