It’s funny. Every summer, after a couple of months of heat, I find myself wondering if winter is actually any worse. Then as soon as winter begins: “Yes. Yes it is.”
Not “. . . cold is only fun for about a week,” but “. . . cold is fun for only about a week.” It’s simply common sense to put the modifier next to the element modified. Ms Andersen should add that rule of thumb to her list of things to remember.

I would rather be too cold than too hot any day, but to be honest our low is on around 20.
