I love watching really old movies and their predictions of future gadgets. So far it seems Star Trek has called it close to correct more often than other sci-fi stories.

I really hate the idea of jet packs and flying cars being in widespread use. Being a pedestrian is tough enough without having to keep an eye out for fools about to fall on you. One scenario bound to happen is that you’re relaxing in your high-rise apartment when some fool drives into your living room.

It has been the FAA that has halted any sales of any flying cars. You must be a licensed pilot to get one.

Here’s to good times in 2019! (Even if we don’t have jet packs.)
