My wife wouldn’t eat her own cooking so I ended up doing all the cooking. I agreed she was a terrible cook after she dumped a quarter cup of crushed pepper flakes into a stew. That meal burned twice, once on the way in and again on the way out.
My mother-in-law used to make her children (wife included) Cream of Wheat with prunes! :( One time when the mother-in-law was visiting, my wife told her she was making Cream of Wheat with Prunes and asked if she wanted some. She then told my wife she didn’t eat it, she only made it to keep her children regular….. :)
