These days where I live grandmothers are often either still working or out enjoying life. Nobody sits and rocks anymore because doctors know it’s the beginning of the end. I just saw a poster advertising salsa classes for the older set.
Girls, girls, girls, just marry a guy that has kids (make sure they are over 18 so you don’t have to deal with child support or the ex). You get kids and eventually grandkids without the prelims.

Funny thing is, they are now old enough to BE grandmothers… actually, their KIDS could be grandparents if they were “prolific” enough… :-P
