In his defense, Thomas Jefferson was always more of a revolution idea man.

Adams-Jefferson is one of the best thing about TPO, because their arguments can always be made current.

    The Republicans are certainly revolting.

Americans are more like Jefferson. We talk a big game, but are pretty docile in the face of the finger in the eye(or just- the finger) we get from our leaders. I can’t imagine the French putting up with Trump and not pouring out into the street every other day. We are all outraged, in our comfortable chairs in our living rooms.

Poor little T-Jeffy. One can just imagine his dotted path to “Paris.”

Off topic, but: now, a Christmas Carol (or perhaps “Carroll” for this strip):

Bad King Donald Trump looked out

    On the Feast of Putin

Trump’s crimes Mueller had laid out

    The treason and the lootin’

Bad King Trump was heard to say

    (Whispering to Putin)

“Could you please my problems solve

    With a little shoo-oo-tin’?"

Putin said, "Don’t bug me, now

    Not upon my Feast Day

Thanks to you, you bloated cow

    I now own the USA

    But your usefulness to me

    (You idiot) is ended

Time to give Mike Pence his chance

    Christ and treason blen-en-ded!"

As to the recent “revolution” in Paris, they don’t want to pay taxes, but they want more free stuff, too.

I sincerely doubt, with its higher population and more expansive industrialization, that France is going to run similar to how Greece went three years ago. Let’s remember that not only are they a nuclear-tipped nation, but one with a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. They’re NOT lightweights….
