Trump-ividual 1 cannot blame others for this stock market crash. It skyrocketed up when he said he had a truce in the trade war that HE STARTED, and then tanked the next day when he admitted he had lied.
Yes, Trump-ividual 1 is Tariff Man. He likes to trade the jobs of American workers for tariffs. And his disastrous decision to have a top Chinese tech figure arrested in Canada (flying from a country that has lawful trade treaties with Iran, in a stopover in Canada, no involvement in the United States which is the one violating a treaty we had been part of) will also backfire and further undermine any effort to salvage a trade war truce.
Trump-ividual 1 is going to find out that there are consequences for playing games with people’s finances and livelihoods, but it will be American workers and consumers who pay the price.

Trump (and some of his devoted sycophants) seems to believe that the crowds in Paris are chanting “We want Trump”. Apparently at a pitch so high that only Trumpo and a few of his never-day-die allies can hear it.
Advisors have been unable to sway Trump’s belief that tariffs are not a tax which would boslter the Fed, and not “interest”. Wharton has some ’splainin to do.
