I never looked it up before, in the expectation that hart was using a real word. (I should know by know that expectations just make an ex out of pec and tations.)

Acording the merrian-webster site, one of the meanings of “fizgig” is: 4. Fishgig. And a “fishgig” is: a fish spear having one or more barbed prongs.When I was a child some guys used a fish spear called a “fizga” to spear fishes at the river using homemade spearguns or a slingshot-like contraption with a pipe instead of a fork. Finally I know where that cames from.
