It’s CLIMATE CHANGE, not just “global warming” which is part of the complex changes occurring. We’re drier and burning, the east is indeed getting record setting floods, and now early snow. IT’S CLIMATE CHANGE!
I lived in So. Cal. back in 1969-71, in Parris Valley south of Riverside. Our house sat on the western foothills facing the eastern foothills. I recall walking out the door and looking across the valley and seeing them gloriously aflame. Turned around and walked though the house to the other side and stepping out that door to see the hills behind me also aflame. Happened just about every year. It’s borderline desert. And streeteater, (sic) the climate is ALWAY CHANGING. The ice core samples have shown much warmer periods then we have now, and worst for us humans much colder ones. History shows warming periods have always benefitted humankind while cold periods have set us back.
^ Oh, yeah; the sun is the major control of climates. Therefore it follows that there can be NO other contributing factors to climate. Nothing can have two or more causes, let alone interactions. (Note to martens: they won’t know what an interaction is, either.)
God loves ignorant people, he made so many of them…
The funny thing about the sun is that, although there has been a very slight decline in solar flux measured at earth since 1976, the global average temperature has increased by one degree C.
Take away the CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere, and the global temperature falls enough that even water vapor starts condensing out, lowering the temperature even more, leading to a frozen earth. The sun’s output would have to increase significantly in order to restore the earth to even an ice age condition. That’s just physics, no politics, just physics.
So you think the sun is the only factor? You are ignorant at the very least. Learn some science.

Yes, Henry, cherry pick your climate change denying plot points. Ignore the trendline.

Weather does not equal climate. Basic science.

And, of course, the sun disappears every night when it sets because we can’t see it.
Seriously, is Henry really this stupid? Does he really not know the difference between weather and climate?

What an idiot. And I’m a little stupid too, for wasting time reading his cartoons.

When it comes to understanding global climate change, Payne demonstrates repeatedly that his basic science education was quite deficient!

Try this: Global Warming is the change in the mean; Climate Change is a change in the Standard Deviation.
