At age 65, I recently made my umpteenth attempt to read ‘Moby Dick’. About 100 pages in, I said to myself, “I’m too old for this !@#$”, and donated my copy to the local library. Time to give someone else a chance to suffer.
If someone would publish a revised edition that left out all the useless info about tying knots and rigging sails, the book would actually be interesting…
