Long since the 2000 election, I STILL can’t believe Florida is having this issue?
In my state, a voter shows a state-issued ID at the polls and two people verify the ID and electronically you sign on a tablet. You then get a paper ballot that requires you to check a box next to the candidate/referendum item and feed it into the machine. It will be kicked back if you misfeed the ballot or (I believe) check more than one entry in the sections that specify choose only one. So therefore I’m genuinely asking about the whole mechanics to their process?
And donnie dump is going deeper and deeper into insanity now that the G.O.P. has LOST Arizona… and if they lose Florida, he’ll go round the bend once and for all!
Minnesota – same-day registering. No ID, walk in the door, give name & address, and off ya go to vote. “So were there any actual, voting convictions in Minnesota? You betcha — 11 of them 2016.”If our system works in MN, I cannot understand why other states need a birth certificate, blood sample, dna swab, photograph, matching signature, God’s approval. P.S. My signature has changed drastically over the years just from age.
The administration in Florida must be proud (again) of their unique ability to create election drama and confusion through the use of error-prone ballot design. It’s always best to do your own design of ballots and never seek professional help or imitate formats used successfully in other states without incidents … how boring.
Apparently Lisa Benson doesn’t believe that the presumption of innocence shouldn’t apply to a black female Democrat, although white male Republicans deserve it. Such hypocrites belong in the “Reject” bin.
We need a Constitutional Amendment covering all federal office elections.
Registration closed 90 days before the election. Exceptions only with proof of recent address change. Registrations in person with verification of US citizenship and photo ID. Mail in allowed only for serving military.
No early voting. “Mail in” for serving military ONLY. Failure to provide military ballots to the DOD 60 days prior to election shall result in $1000 fine per ballot per day.
Uniform ballot design nationwide. Provisional ballots must be available at polling place.
Absentee ballots must be on hand at local polling station at the time of closing to be eligible. Unverifiable absentee ballots to be considered “spoiled”.
Photo ID required to vote. Must have cast ballot or be in line at the time the polls close. Paper ballots only, hand counted in front of witnesses by election judges at the polling station beginning the moment the polls close or the last voter in line casts a ballot. Ballots to be tallied and sealed into a single box with the formal count attached inside and out. All ballots of all types to be placed in box. Tally to include counted ballots, number of spoiled ballots and number of provisional ballots. Totals to be reported to Sec State office via phone.
Boxes to be transported to local collection points by at least two election judges from opposing parties. Boxes to be sealed into a single locked and monitored room.
Boxes to be opened ONLY if the total number of provisional ballots exceeds the margin of victory or in the event of a lawful recount.

Of course, since Trump hates her, that’s all that matters to Lisa. Once an RWNJ, always an RWNJ, huh Lisa?

So Lisa denigrates an official unless they come up with the outcome that SHE approves of.

Are the rejected ballots the ones done in bulk?

Trump is saying ballots coming in now should not be counted, despite the fact that a HUGE percentage of those ballots are from the military.

Ex-governor Scott had years to fix the problems. I suppose he didn’t for the reason he was winning.

Benson isn’t satisfied with just muddling around in California politics … she’s spreading out to Florida … keeps her Valley View readers entertained!
