I suspect the tax returns will have been doctored and adjusted over these last 2 years enough to show the public trump is a saint.. Remember all the auditing the trump was going on about… was not the IRS that was doing the auditing.. trumps team was doing it.
And who is the chair presumptive of the committee that would be asking for those tax returns? Auntie Maxine Waters. Maxine Waters. With. Full. Subpoena. Powers.

The democrats in the House, I think, should first attempt to ascertain exactly WHAT Mueller has found so there’s no wasted time duplicating one another’s efforts. Now this has no validity in front of a judge but I will now state that the ONLY reason any politician would have for NOT releasing tax returns to the public is IF they had something to hide. Politicians have been releasing their Tax returns for long enough that Donnie didn’t KNOW that he’d be asked to release HIS.
Of course here’s the “rub”. Donnie REALLY didn’t have any plans of winning. His whole goal was to “improve his brand”. The whole “campaign” was a massive ‘scam’ to make him more valuable in his OTHER ‘scams’. But, Donnie never figured on the tremendous yearning on the average Republican’s part for someone, ANYONE, to counter America’s slip into the “liberalism” demonstrated by Barack Obama/
Obama scared Republicans silly. White America could see the whole country “going to the dogs”, so to speak, and they needed a hero to ‘rescue’ them from falling into the “black abyss” personified by a black man in the White House! They would tolerate almost any person, almost any action, that would save them from such a fate.
So Donald John Trump rode massive amounts of fear into the White House, openly spouting White Nationalist, misogynistic tripe to adoring crowds and receiving wild cheers all the while.
The Republican Party doesn’t CARE what Donnie does – it’s dead anyway! From 2016 to 2018 the “G.O.P.” has shrunk from 32% of the American population down to 26%. That kind of shrinkage point to a death, not a decline. So R.I.P. G.O.P. It’s dead.

If we have to demonstrate our financial responsibility (tax returns, credit reports, etc ) to get a job, why shouldn’t the resident?
