was there ever a Dr. Seuss book, once upon a time, that had no rhyme?

‘Everthing’? Ah, I guess a syllable skipped is good for the end rhyme.

    With a scream,

Heart realises she’s still in a dream.Trapped in a Dr. Seuss story is she, without a form of glee. Now isn’t this a hoot, she’s still in her nightie and barefoot. What will happen to our heroine? What’s the yarn they’re gonna spin? Will she find her wayBack to the school play?On the count of three,We’ll just have to wait and see.

Is anyone else flashing back to the issue of the Defenders where Hank McCoy, Valkyrie, the Gargoyle and Namor landed in a Seussian world? Everyone rhymed, except the villain, Easyread the First (a Cat in the Hat knockoff). While the Defenders were being bored silly by a Mr. Rogers-like monster, Easyread was defeated by two natives, Greeneggs and his little friend Annham.

This world showed up again in the mini-series Daydreamers but they made the mistake of incorporating the captions (which the characters shouldn’t be able to see) in the rhymes.

Rhyming is the highest form of entertainment. Now where’d I put my cannabis oil?
