It’s clear – Trump figures that if he starts WWIII, then it will finally stop people from paying attention to Mueller.
He also probably believes in “limited engagement” and has convinced himself that if he “bloodies NK’s nose” that they will back down.
It’s a constant amazement to a pessimist like me that we have gone over 70 years without having a thermonuclear device used on population anywhere in the world. Hawks in the US have been pushing presidents to use them since the initial Korean War.
He’s throwing gas on almost everything America has built, or cared about, peace, civility, the environment, public lands, medical care, immigrants seeking asylum, and well, our very humanity.
