It is Northern California….way before the homeless discovered it!
This was new when Blackberrys were high tech.
People do wade a bit at Bay Area beaches. Few go beyond the six inch depth.
Up here in Oregon i occasionally see some Minnesotans or Idahoans or such playing in the surf. But usually not until late summer.
Which is why I prefer Southern California!
As a resident of SoCal I’d rather live in NoCal.
