Thoughts on the left are real today. Thoughts on the right are a self-serving myth.

Oh, and I guarantee you no guy will ever think that. A lotta privilege there.

As usual, the woman takes the greater risk.

One of these things is not like the other. Ted must be too old to have watched Sesame Street.

False accusations of rape are rare, and the harm done by rape is far greater than the harm by a fake rape allegation. Even when the rape is proven, a lot of blame is shifted to the victim with questions like “What was she wearing ?” , “was she drinking ?” and “Did she lead him on ?”.

Over 60% of sexual assaults are NOT reported. The number of false accusations is VERY low – that is why they are NEWS.

Kudos to mommadillo – one off these things is definitely NOT like the other.

There are statistics on false accusations for all kinds of crimes. Such a false accusation is a serous crime in itself. The statistics show false sexual assault accusations happen at less that half the rate for all other crimes. They also show that sexual assault is not reported about eighty percent of the time, also a rate much, much higher than under reporting of other crimes.

The cartoonist doth protest too much. There aren’t any young men not named Charlie Kirk who are worried that a random woman will make a false rape accusation against them.

There was a great little Twitter thing where a woman posted a photo of her son in his Navy uniform, saying “My son won’t go on solo dates, because of #metoo.”

After the initial storm of mocking roasts of said son, he posted an updated photo in the same pose, with the line, “That was my Mom. Sometimes the people we love do things that hurt us without realizing it. Let’s turn this around. I respect and #BelieveWomen . I never have and never will support #HimToo”

Women from every generation across all time have been thinking what the woman is thinking… and now a small portion of men are thinking what the man is thinking.

Sad but true. There is now an actual guidebook for young men. Helpful steps to avoid being falsely accused.
