Good thing your resume isn’t poor with allegations of sexual assault hanging over you. Then they MIGHT not consider hiring you! /s

Wake the &*%# up, Congress! It’s time to insist that the president put forth a REAL nominee! Or if he can’t do that, there’s an even simpler solution: Merrick Garland. He’s already been nominated.

Do the sexual allegations matter? Can we dump Kavanaugh for other reasons?

Like say his temper tantrum the other day? Trump supporters say that if they were “falsely accused” that they would act the same way. I have no doubts and it is OK for them to hold their breath, lay on the floor and kick and scream (he who shouts the loudest is right according to Republican philosophy – look at Kavanaugh and the Republican Senators). However that’s not the kind of conduct I expect from a Supreme Court Justice.

I do expect my judges to deliberate cases based on the evidence and not in accordance with their testicles. Kavanaugh accused the Clintons of orchestrating the proceedings. Does he have proof of this or is this an “alternative fact” as lies have become known as in the Trump newspeak era?

And as an already-appointed Federal Judge he took an oath of office (so help him God) to eschew politics yet his his tirade (or if your are a Trump supporter, “impassioned plea”) was about as partisan as you can get.

McConnell is under great pressure to deliver the prize to his master, Donald Trump. He has repeatedly stated that the “distraction” of sexual misconduct allegations (true or not) will not get in the way of the nomination.

I’m an old fart who was born during the Truman administration. I remember a time when Senators were dignified people and there was a lot of debate between Republicans and Democrats. Debate is dead. It’s now a shouting match (but look at who is doing all the shouting): a name-calling contest where might makes right, and two wrongs make a right. I’ve seen better conduct in grade school classes, but they have adult supervision.

It is newly more evident that Kavanaugh and the Republican knew about his closet full of skeletons. His handy list of 65 women who vouched for him was instantly available when the need arose. New evidence that he was busy in July, contacting people about the Ramirez incident are on par with Manafort’s contacts to solicit testimony that his activities were restricted to Ukrania. Manafort was imprisoned for witness tampering. Republicans want to “plow through” and"ram through" all of it to put him on the Supreme Court instead.
