Captain Kangaroo’s superiors were the toughest Major Frank Burns and Colonel Sanders. Colonel Sanders was most notable for his treatment of chickens under fire – he fried them.
I miss Captain Kangaroo. Believe it or not, he was a real war hero. He was a hero all around. Some worked continually to slander him. Like a real hero he went straight forward.

As Linda Richman on SNL once said, “ Captain Kangaroo- neither a captain nor a kangaroo. Discuss.”

First I read “superiors” as “superpowers.” Quite a few comic book heroes and villains go by “Captain,” after all.
