1. A member of a warlike Thessalian people led by Achilles at the siege of Troy.

2. A hired ruffian or unscrupulous subordinate.

noun: myrmidon; plural noun: myrmidons

1. “He and his myrmidons were ensconced in a bunker.”

2. “As her boss’ myrmidon, her task was to cook the company’s books.”

Good thing she didn’t use ‘stepandfetchit’.

I would think the phrase “professional brown-nose” would be more accurate.

If he were the Fire Emblem type of myrmidon, he could aspire to be a swordmaster. Maybe even a trueblade.
