Even at my parents’ yard there is a shed to hold some shovels and rakes, but also some greenhouse items as well as I think a badminton set. No room for the mower though; that — along with other things like weed whacker, leaf blower, their rechargeable batteries, food storage — is in the three-bay garage.

The plugger who lives here built his own shed, and didn’t spend half that amount doing it.

Hey, every plugger knows that if you leave a tool out in the rain, it won’t last very long. Put the shed where you need them, and put the tools in the shed so you can take care of them. The ones you bought at a yard sale were probably well-maintained and will last almost forever if you do the same.

A plugger will fill his garage full of junk and leave his brand new truck in the driveway.

That.. is hardly a $2K shed. A decent plugger would have built that himself just for the cost of nails.

Or renting a storage unit for 200 bux a year for 50 years, to store 100 bux worth of old furniture.

No. You’re a plugger if you build the shed yourself from scrap wood.

Our son calls our 1-1/2 car garage a shed.
