I love reading Garfield on Halloween or if Mr. Dithers shows up in Blondie or if it’s birthday, and birthdays are the exception to what irritate me with these kinds of strips because they DON’T HAVE HIM SITTING AND WATCHING TELEVISION! I like to see Garfield interacting with the other characters in the strip so television watching ones are the worst. Why not do sludge monster remakes or something?
Personally, this one made me laugh. The “Zardog” name (though possibly related to Odie the canine?) and Garfield’s reaction in the last panel were a good combo. Fun.
