    the only reasons the Octopus isn’t the dominant species in the ocean is because they have a 2 year life span and are solitary by nature. Despite their intelligence they have no culture and never pass any of their learned behaviors on.

    To me the intelligence issue really is a false argument. Cows, pigs, hell even fish and chicken all have reasonably high levels of intelligence and many millions of neurons.

    People should eat what they like. I personally eat only a little meat (small amounts of chicken, turkey, and fish) once or twice a week… because that is what I find good for me. But others who like more and more varied meats should enjoy it.
