    You know, it may be possible for future tech to actually do something like this. GPS, combined with a smart car, could project “arrows” on the streets you would travel to get to your stated destination, which would be seen only by those in your vehicle.

    My first thought when I saw this strip was the line from “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” with Steve Martin & John Candy. The other motorist frantically yells, “You’re going the wrong way!”. John Candy replies to Steve Martin, “How does he know where we’re going?”

    One of my daughters said something similar to this one summer out on the Trans Canada Highway in the middle of Saskatchewan.

    On some multi-lane one-way streets, the white dots down the center line reflect red if you’re driving the wrong way.
