What KOMPROMAT does Putin have on Trump to force such pathetic obeisance? Must be more than just the pee pee videos. He likely has those, but that would be merely embarrassing and Trump is shameless. Must be massive evidence of extensive financial crimes such as money laundering and business in violations of sanctions and embargoes, and Putin would absolutely be the one person who has the evidence of the collusion.

Trump promotes the interests of Russia, is building trade relations with our long-time adversaries (North Korea and Russia, and China only after they bribed him with investments in his companies [emoluments]), and alienating the United States from its long-time closest allies (Canada, Mexico, Europe), both economically and strategically, and now undermining logistical and strategic support for long-time strong allies Japan and South Korea for photo ops and empty words with an untrustworthy, murderous dictator who lies almost as much as Trump himself.

Trump is alienating our longest-standing allies (G7, NATO, SEATO, OAS) while kowtowing and praising dictators and our longest-standing hostile adversaries.

Trump, dancing to Putin’s puppet strings, apparently wants to blow up NATO and replace it with CRANKChina, Russia, America, North Korea.

Sounds like the number of negatives is a lot more than “double.”

It’s okay Donnie, I’m sure Putin will write to you in prison. Unless he’s willing to trade some of our agents for you, but I doubt it.

I’m not completely convinced that Glorious Leader is aware he’s being played. That understanding takes a certain degree of self-awareness, and . . .

If Democrats think that harping on this without changing their policies in a more than superficially or mildly progressive direction will get them back Congress, they’ll be Trump’s

So, the main policies of the Democratic plan to win back Congress, end the deep partisan, unify the nation and move it forward … are?

Why would Trump want to stop Russia from meddling in US elections? They were on his side. So now he’s on their side.

Actually, in one sense, Donnie’s use of a “double negative” in his "retraction is completely true!

Remember, way back in Freshman english, where the teacher pointed out that, when you said " I wouldn’t not do it…" that you were REALLY admitting that you WOULD do that thing! Well, first of all, whomever ‘penned’ his retraction obviously mentioned that he was walking into “double negative” territory, which, somehow, Donnie managed to remember. Donnie’s not nearly ‘intelligent’ enough to come up with that critique on his own!

And you can tell, by his body language as he was ‘reading’ his “retraction” that he was doing it “under duress” and truly didn’t believe his own dialogue. That, plus the fact that the last few words ad libbed in his “retraction” actually “retracted” his “retraction”!

It also “begs the question”, “Why bother?” His retraction affected ONE sentence in a whole diatribe against America and American Values and totally supporting Russia It’s not like he’s never said the exact same thing in every “campaign rally” Donnie has ever held!

Listen, people, Donald John Trump CANNOT AFFORD TO ADMIT to the Russians subverting the 2016 Presidential election, no matter how much PROOF he’s given! Understand this, IF he accepts the now overwhelming evidence that points to the Russians attacking our electoral process, the he LOSES THE ABILITY to claim that Special Prosecutor Mueller is conducting a “Witch Hunt”!

It’s not that he DOESN’T believe the massive evidence of Russian attack on American Values, it’s that he CAN’T believe the evidence! Once he truly admits to the validity of the evidence of Russian assistance in getting him elected, he totally loses the ability to claim the inappropriateness of the Mueller investigation!

Fortunately, (for him), Donnie’s ability to ignore “Truth” is legendary! And what is even MORE IMPORTANT to him, is the fact that his Base is similarly able to ignore or at least dismiss “Truth” as being immaterial to their support!

Two problems: one, Trump thinks the rest of us are as legendarily stupid as Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Second, Putin is about to find out that his useful idiot is USELESS!

Why hasn’t Trump begun the mandatory sanctions against Russia that congress voted for?

What is Putin’s hold on Trump? It can only be money, Putin has been funding Trump.

Under current law, foreign nationals cannot donate to political candidates or pay for campaign ads.

If the N.R.A. as an organization turns out to be compromised, it would shake conservative politics to its foundation. And this is no longer a far-fetched possibility. “I serve on both the Intelligence Committee and the Finance Committee,” Senator Ron Wyden, Democrat of Oregon, told me. “So I have a chance to really look at this through the periscope of both committees. And what I have wondered about for some time is this whole issue of whether the N.R.A. is getting subverted as a Russian asset.

Maria Butina, Suspected Secret Agent, Used Sex in Covert Plan, Prosecutors SayThis is not a question that Republicans are eager to answer. Before Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee abruptly closed their investigation into Russian election interference, committee Democrats wanted to interview both Butina and Erickson. Their Republican colleagues refused. “If there were efforts towards a back channel towards the N.R.A., they didn’t want to know,” Representative Adam Schiff, a California Democrat who is the ranking member on the committee, told me. “It was too hot to handle.”

It is not surprising that Republicans would want to protect the N.R.A.
