My dad caught his right ear doing that. Fortunately, it was still mounted on the side of his head when he got the hook out.
You should have seen the 4 that got away.
Couple of other options here too. Could have caught a “M”, an “E”, or a “W”.

This is a family strip, so luckily we did not see Horace take a number 1 or a number 2.
When I fish, I practice Catch and Threelease.
How was he expecting to catch any fish without any bait on his hook??
