And yet, Mr. Kelley, you’re okay with Trump and friends running the country. Interesting rose colored glasses you got there. Oh, and Mitch McConnell should have his hands cut off because he’s a thief.

And greedy liar racist Trump who does not believe in reality will be making the right wing extremist rational decision, again.

There is a public perception of unfairness here, it makes vicious partisan right wingers gloat.

The Righties are getting desperate. Poor Stevie is pulling his own hair out in his efforts to malign Democrats so that maybe we won’t notice what the Republicans are doing to the country.

“Regardless of what happens this November, it is already clear that the American century ended on November 8, 2016. On that day, the United States ceased to be the world’s leading superpower – the flawed but ultimately well-meaning guarantor of peace, prosperity, and human rights around the world. America’s days of Kindlebergian hegemony are now behind it. The credibility that has been lost to the Trumpists – abetted by Russia and the US Electoral College – can never be regained.”

no, because he is going to pick someone that cares more about the Bible than the Constitution and more about corporate rights that human rights.

In 2016, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said: “One of my proudest moments was when I told Obama, ‘You will not fill this Supreme Court vacancy,’” and in 2017, he said, “Apparently there’s yet a new standard now, which is not to confirm a Supreme Court nominee at all. I think that’s something the American people simply will not tolerate.” Copied from Snopes.

Merrick Garland is known to be a moderate, centrist liberal.

Brett Kavanaugh is being denigrated by Republicans for having an open mind.

Trump promised to put judges on SCOTUS that would overturn Roe v Wade. Precedent is one of the guiding principles in the law and a directive to overturn precedent without thinking about the ramifications is dangerous.

Trump is impulsive and doesn’t think things through. To put someone on SCOTUS that will follow his pattern is insane. The tantrums as described by Kelley are Trump’s temperament, not Dems.

…and because someone likely to be charged with criminal offenses that the Supreme Court will probably end up ruling on shouldn’t be allowed to name one of its Justices.

Remember Repubs. The new Mitch McConnell standard is that we will only appoint a Justice when the White House and the Senate are held by the same party. Also there is nothing the Constitution that specifies how many Justices there are supposed to be. That is set by this thing called tradition. It is the same kind of tradition that should have made Mitch bring Merrick Garlands nomination to the floor.
