    A folded up piece of paper also works. It is something you don’t care a lot about, so if it gets wet, it’s not the end of the world.

    Must confess….started doing this as a kid. Still do it. Not because I can’t find paper, but because I would misplace the paper. I don’t misplace my hand.

    Ha! Just try to find a man’s shirt with a pocket nowadays. They have been phasing them out since the early 70s and they are almost extinct now.

    I used to jot things down on business cards – particularly names and phone numbers – but often, later when cleaning out the wallet, would never remember who’s name or number was on the card.
