The sound of the hairdryer means she’s up, showered, and ready for a day’s combat.

It’s when the hairdryer stops that you have to watch out.

Janis, “How do you like my hair this way?” Arlo is trapped.

A seasoned husband reads the signs. Hair dryer signs are not to be overlooked. The length of time it runs, even the subtle sounds it makes as it moves provides much information about the prospects for a pleasant or difficult day ahead.
