I had some little cardboard circles from packaging.
I would roll them down the floor and the cats loved to swat them and jump on them. They loved the interactive play and would get in hockey position waiting for me to throw the next circle.

The only thing cat’s can’t feign interest in are human snacks. Especially the cheesy ones. Just the sound of the snack bag and the come running.
